Global Unveils Winter 2026 Lineup Featuring Survivor Season 50 and New Originals
TORONTO — Global has announced its winter 2026 schedule, anchored by the milestone 50th season of Survivor, which premieres Wednesday, February 25 at 8 p.m. ET/PT. The midseason slate blends true crime, scripted drama, reality competition, and returning fan favourites, with all titles available to stream on STACKTV and the Global TV App.
“With more top 20-ranked shows than any other broadcaster this fall, Global adds four of the most anticipated new midseason series to a roster of proven hits,” said Jennifer Abrams, Senior Vice President, Content and Marketing at Corus Entertainment.
New & Returning Unscripted Series
The winter schedule kicks off with Harlan Coben’s Final Twist on Wednesday, January 7 at 10 p.m. ET/PT, a new true-crime format hosted by bestselling author Harlan Coben that unpacks high-profile cases and shocking reversals.
Global also marks a franchise milestone with three-hour premiere of Survivor Season 50 on February 25. For the first time, the game will be “in the hands of the fans,” who will vote on key elements that shape the competition. Weekly episodes will follow in extended 90-minute formats.
Food competition joins the lineup with America’s Culinary Cup, hosted by Padma Lakshmi, premiering Wednesday, March 4 at 9:30 p.m. ET/PT.
Scripted Dramas: New Launches and Returns
From executive producer Dick Wolf, the new procedural CIA launches Monday, February 23 at 10 p.m. ET/PT, starring Tom Ellis and Nick Gehlfuss.
Action drama Y: Marshals follows on Sunday, March 1 at 8 p.m. ET/PT, with Luke Grimes reprising his role as Kayce Dutton from the Yellowstone universe.
Returning series include Family Law Season 4 (Thursday, January 8 at 9 p.m. ET/PT), 9-1-1 Season 9 (Thursday, January 8 at 8 p.m. ET/PT), Doc Season 2 (Tuesday, January 6 at 9 p.m. ET/PT), and fan-favourite franchises including FBI, NCIS, Matlock, Elsbeth, Sheriff Country, Fire Country, and Watson resuming through late February.
Comedy Highlights
Comedy returns with Abbott Elementary Season 5 on Wednesday, January 7 at 9 p.m. ET/PT, followed by Saturday Night Live Season 51 on Saturday, January 17. The final season of The Neighborhood resumes Monday, February 23, alongside breakout new comedy DMV. Ghosts Season 5 returns Thursday, February 26.
