Four Seasons Expands in Greece with Luxury Resort and Residences in Porto Heli

TORONTO Four Seasons Hotels and Resorts, the global leader in luxury hospitality and branded residences, has announced plans to redevelop a 185-acre beachfront estate at Hinitsa Bay in Porto Heli, Greece, into a high-end resort and residential community.

In partnership with Hinitsa Bay Holdings, Four Seasons will transform the property, which boasts 3.25 kilometers of coastline, into the Four Seasons Resort and Residences Porto Heli. The development will feature 80 guest rooms and suites, 30 bungalows, and Four Seasons-branded residential villas.

The new resort aims to integrate the natural beauty of southeastern Greece with luxury amenities, offering sweeping views of the Argolic Gulf and the nearby island of Spetses. Guests will have direct access to pristine beaches, the nearby town center, and scenic walking trails.

A Premier Destination
This project highlights Four Seasons’ commitment to expanding its footprint in Greece. “As we continue expanding our exceptional portfolio in Greece, Four Seasons entry into Porto Heli will create yet another dynamic resort destination for discerning guests and residents to enjoy,” said Bart Carnahan, President of Global Business Development, Portfolio Management, and Residential for Four Seasons.

Paul Coulson, Chairman of Hinitsa Bay Holdings, echoed this vision, emphasizing the importance of enhancing the Porto Heli area while maintaining its charm and character.

Porto Heli, once a quiet fishing village, has grown into a vibrant Mediterranean destination, known for its beaches, nightlife, and proximity to historic and cultural landmarks, including the Ancient Theater of Epidaurus and Nafplion.

World-Class Amenities
The resort will cater to diverse interests, featuring a Kids For All Seasons program, multi-sports facilities, pools for adults and families, and a state-of-the-art gym. Dining options will include beachfront and all-day restaurants, as well as a sophisticated lobby lounge.

A 3.25-acre spa garden will offer wellness experiences designed to connect guests with nature, including 18 treatment rooms, thermal suites, and fitness facilities. The design aims to create a serene and peaceful environment.

Seamless Connectivity and Expansion Plans
Easily accessible via a two-and-a-half-hour drive from Athens or by helicopter, ferry, or private boat, Porto Heli is poised to welcome guests from around the world.

The new resort will join Four Seasons’ existing properties in Greece, including the award-winning Astir Palace Hotel in Athens. It will also complement the upcoming Four Seasons Resort Mykonos, set to open in 2025.

This development reaffirms Four Seasons’ position as a leader in luxury hospitality, combining world-class service with the natural beauty and cultural richness of Greece.
