Four Seasons and Lucid Group Partner to Offer Electric Car Experiences
TORONTO and NEWARK, Calif. — Global luxury hospitality leader Four Seasons has announced a new partnership with Lucid Group, Inc., known for manufacturing advanced electric vehicles, to provide guests with complimentary driving experiences at participating Four Seasons hotels and resorts. This initiative, set to launch this month, reflects both companies’ commitment to sustainability and a desire to meet the growing demand for unique, eco-friendly travel options.
Under this partnership, guests will have access to several program elements:
- Complimentary Driving Experience: Based on availability, guests can reserve a Lucid vehicle at no cost, either online or on-site. Concierge teams will assist by providing suggested route maps that highlight local attractions, allowing guests to explore their destination at their leisure.
- Chauffeured Lucid House Car: In addition to self-driving options, guests will also have the opportunity to enjoy a chauffeured ride in a Lucid vehicle.
- Electric Charging Stations: Lucid will install electric vehicle chargers at participating hotels, compatible with other electric vehicle types, ensuring both hotel guests and community members have access to convenient charging options.
Marc Speichert, Executive Vice President and Chief Commercial Officer of Four Seasons, emphasized the hotel chain’s commitment to excellence, stating, “We are excited to partner with Lucid to create this new, sustainable luxury experience for our guests.”
Peter Rawlinson, CEO of Lucid, remarked on the experience offered by the Lucid Air, saying, “Every time guests step into a Lucid Air, they will be welcomed by a meticulously crafted interior, elegant design, and a driving experience that is unmatched by any other vehicle on the road today.”
The program rollout is expected to begin this fall at participating Four Seasons properties in the U.S., with plans to expand to additional locations in North America, Europe, and the Middle East in the coming months.
As a pioneer in luxury hospitality since its first hotel opening in 1961, Four Seasons operates 132 hotels and resorts and 55 residential properties across 47 countries. Lucid Group, based in Silicon Valley, aims to accelerate the transition to sustainable transportation with its flagship model, the Lucid Air Grand Touring, which boasts a range of up to 512 miles on a single charge.
