Ford Unveils All-Electric Ford Capri with Eric Cantona

Cologne, Germany — Ford has introduced a new all-electric version of its iconic Ford Capri, unveiled by football legend Eric Cantona. Reimagined for the electric vehicle (EV) era, the Capri promises to combine classic design elements with modern technology.

The launch event, held at Wapping Power Station in London, featured Cantona, who emphasized the Capri’s blend of heritage and innovation. “This Capri is a remarkable reinterpretation of the classic. A sports coupe for the family. But, more importantly, it’s all-electric. That is the future,” he stated.

  • Design: The new Capri retains the sporty look of its predecessor, with updated features like modern headlights and a sleek body shape. It boasts over 570 litres of boot space.
  • Performance: With a range of over 620 km on a full charge, the Capri supports fast charging, making it a practical choice for long trips and daily commutes.
  • Safety and Technology: The Capri includes advanced safety features like automated lane changes and cyclist detection when opening doors. It also offers a massaging driver’s seat and a sliding touch screen for enhanced comfort and convenience.
