Floating Tiki Bar Returns to Toronto Waterfront May 3: Palapa Tours Launches 2025 Season with Karaoke Nights and Sunset Cruises

TORONTO — Island vibes are making waves once again at the Toronto waterfront as Palapa Tours reopens for the 2025 season starting Saturday, May 3. Known for its custom-built Hawaiian-style floating tiki bars, the local favourite is back with an expanded lineup of tropical-themed experiences, including karaoke nights and sunset date cruises.

Operating daily out of HTO Park at 319 Queens Quay West, Palapa Tours offers 90-minute cruises around the scenic Toronto Islands aboard two floating tiki vessels. Each boat is fully licensed and decked out with a bar, music, and panoramic views of the downtown skyline, delivering a one-of-a-kind escape on Lake Ontario.

The boats can be booked for individual tickets or as private charters for up to 12 guests, making them a hit for birthdays, bachelorette parties, team outings, and summer celebrations. This season’s new programming features monthly themed events and a souvenir Palapa glass included with every ticket.

“Palapa Tours was created to bring a slice of island life to Toronto,” said the Palapa Tours team. “We’re excited to return with even more ways for guests to enjoy the waterfront, unwind with friends, and create a vibe on the water this summer.”

The experience runs seven days a week through the end of September. Tickets and private bookings are available now at torontopalapa.tours. The company is also offering brand partnership opportunities for beverage and lifestyle companies interested in experiential marketing along Toronto’s bustling harbourfront.
