First-Ever Canadian Minecraft Experience Coming to Mississauga This Summer
MISSISSAUGA — Gamers, adventurers, and families alike are being summoned to Square One this summer as Minecraft Experience: Villager Rescue makes its first-ever Canadian stop in Mississauga, opening June 20 for a limited time.
This interactive experience transports visitors into the world of Minecraft through cutting-edge technology, immersive storytelling, and hands-on game design. Guests will journey through the Overworld on a mission to save Villagers, solving challenges and unlocking secrets in a live-action, high-tech quest.
Open to all ages, Villager Rescue is designed for both seasoned Minecraft veterans and complete newcomers. No prior game knowledge is necessary, making it a perfect day out for families, friends, and solo adventurers alike.
Tickets are now on sale starting at $32, with group and flex pass options available at minecraftexperience.com.
The event is produced by Montreal-based studio Supply + Demand, alongside Experience MOD and Mojang Studios, creators of Minecraft. The globally celebrated video game has sold more than 300 million copies, with a massive fan base from every continent — including Antarctica and Vatican City — and a major motion picture now in theatres.
Visitors are also encouraged to explore more of what Mississauga has to offer after their adventure. From shopping at Square One and gaming at The Rec Room to checking out Celebration Square’s summer events and the LVLUP Games board game café, there’s no shortage of fun waiting beyond the digital world.
