Firehouse Subs Celebrates Toronto Maple Leafs® Home Opener with Free Sub Giveaway and $5 Hat Trick Offer

Fans wearing Leafs gear can score a free sub on October 8 and enjoy special offers all season long

TORONTO — Toronto Maple Leafs® fans have an extra reason to cheer today as Firehouse Subs®, the Official Sub Partner of the Toronto Maple Leafs, celebrates the team’s home opener with a mouthwatering fan giveaway and an all-new season-long promotion.

From 2:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m. on October 8, Leafs fans wearing official team merchandise can grab a free medium Hook & Ladder® sub at select Downtown Toronto Firehouse Subs locations, combining two local passions — hockey and hearty sandwiches.

Participating locations include:

  • 501 Yonge Street

  • 440 Bathurst Street

  • 1221 King Street West

  • 525 University Avenue

  • 325 King Street East

The celebration extends beyond opening night with the launch of Firehouse Subs’ new $5 Hat Trick offer — a special reward for Leafs fans throughout the season.

For every hat trick scored by a Maple Leafs player, fans can redeem a medium Brisket Hat Trick sub for just $5 the following day. The limited-time sub features a combination of smoked beef brisket, turkey breast, and honey ham, topped with melted cheddar and tangy BBQ slaw — a triple threat worthy of its name.
