Dundas BRT Project Seeks Community Input

Toronto, ON — The Metrolinx Toronto West Community Engagement team is actively promoting the Dundas Bus Rapid Transit (BRT) project through a series of pop-up events and an ongoing online public engagement initiative. The team recently hosted a pop-up event at Kipling Station, encouraging commuters to review project materials online and ask questions.

The Dundas BRT project aims to enhance transit connectivity from Toronto through Mississauga to Hamilton. To gather public input and share planning and design progress, a Public Information Centre is open from June 24 to July 24, 2024. Community members are invited to provide feedback and engage with the project team through the project webpage and the Slido icon.

Key Dates for Upcoming Pop-Up Events:

  • Kipling GO Station: July 11, 2024, from 2 PM to 5 PM at 27 St. Albans Rd., Toronto, ON
  • Bloor GO Station (TTC Connection) Pop-Up: July 18, 2024, from 4:30 PM to 6:30 PM (Location TBC)
  • BIG on Bloor: July 20-21, 2024, from 9 AM to 7 PM at Bloor Street West, between Dufferin and Lansdowne

These events provide an opportunity for the public to learn more about the Dundas BRT project and share their thoughts on how it can best serve the community. The Toronto West Community Engagement team looks forward to receiving valuable feedback from residents and commuters to help shape the future of transit in the region.
