Premier Doug Ford Extends Thanksgiving Greetings to Ontarians

Ontario’s Premier shares message of gratitude, community, and compassion this Thanksgiving holiday weekend

TORONTO  — Premier Doug Ford has shared a heartfelt Thanksgiving message with the people of Ontario, encouraging residents to reflect on gratitude, togetherness, and community giving during the holiday weekend.

“Today, as families and friends come together across Ontario, I want to extend my best wishes to everyone celebrating this Thanksgiving,” said Premier Ford. “This holiday is a great time to take stock of all we have to be grateful for, living in a province with incredible potential, natural beauty, diversity, opportunity and the best people in the world.”

In his statement, Ford expressed appreciation for health-care workers, essential workers, and farmers, recognizing their vital role in keeping Ontario strong.

“From our health-care and essential workers to the farmers who keep food on our tables, I want to thank everyone who ensures Ontario will always be the best place to live, work and raise a family,” Ford added.

The Premier also encouraged Ontarians to remember those in need and find ways to give back to their communities, reflecting the spirit of Thanksgiving beyond the dinner table.

“As we gather with loved ones, let’s also remember those who may be less fortunate and find ways to give back to our communities,” he said. “From my family to yours, I wish you all a happy and heartfelt Thanksgiving.”

Across Ontario, communities are celebrating the season with family gatherings, local food drives, and community meals aimed at helping those facing food insecurity.
