Dempster’s® Launches Holistic Wellness Campaign: “Feed What Nourishes You”
Toronto — Dempster’s® is redefining its commitment to Canadian wellness with the launch of its new campaign, “Feed What Nourishes You.” This initiative marks a significant shift from focusing solely on bread as a staple at every meal to promoting a broader approach to self-care and holistic well-being.
A New Approach to Well-Being
The “Feed What Nourishes You” campaign aims to inspire Canadians to embrace self-care and prioritize their own wellness in a demanding world. The initiative comes in response to findings from a 2023 survey commissioned by Dempster’s®, which highlighted a critical need for increased focus on personal well-being. According to the survey, 86% of Canadians express a desire to improve their self-care routines, yet 42% of Canadian women report feeling guilty about taking time for themselves. Additionally, while 88% of respondents recognize the importance of self-care, 55% often put their family’s needs ahead of their own.
Tania Goecke, Vice-President of Marketing at Bimbo Canada, stresses the importance of the campaign: “In a world where burnout is becoming increasingly common, many parents and caregivers find themselves giving everything to others at their own expense. Our campaign encourages Canadians to take time for themselves, whether that means relaxing, indulging in a treat, staying healthy, or pursuing creative interests. By prioritizing our own well-being, we can be better parents, friends, and family members.”
Campaign Launch and Activities
The campaign officially kicks off with a panel discussion featuring parents sharing their experiences and strategies for balancing personal wellness with the demands of parenthood. The discussion aims to highlight the importance of self-care and offer practical advice to Canadian families.
Following the panel, Dempster’s® will roll out the “Feed What Nourishes You” campaign across multiple platforms, including television, outdoor advertising, social media, and public relations. The campaign is set to continue throughout the year and into 2025, with plans for further actions and partnerships designed to enhance Canadians’ well-being.
