Corus Entertainment Unveils Winter 2025 Lineup for Showcase and W Network
TORONTO – Corus Entertainment has announced an exciting slate of new and returning series for its Showcase and W Network platforms this winter. The robust lineup includes gripping dramas, fan-favorite comedies, and thrilling premieres, all available for streaming on STACKTV.
W Network Highlights
The critically acclaimed Funny Woman returns for its second season on Thursday, January 2, at 10 p.m. ET/PT. Starring Gemma Arterton as Sophie Straw, the series follows Sophie’s rise to fame in comedy and her challenges with personal and professional setbacks.
Fans of the Hallmark Channel’s hit drama The Way Home can look forward to its third season on Sunday, January 5, at 9 p.m. ET/PT. The show, starring Andie MacDowell and Chyler Leigh, delves deeper into the Landry family’s intertwined past and present, with characters transported to pivotal moments in the 1970s.
On January 27, the highly anticipated second season of Based on a True Story premieres at 9 p.m. ET/PT. Kaley Cuoco and Chris Messina return as Ava and Nathan Bartlett, grappling with parenthood while being drawn back into a world of true crime and unexpected dangers.
Showcase Premieres
Showcase kicks off its winter schedule with Teacup, a thrilling adaptation of Robert McCammon’s novel Stinger. Premiering Monday, December 30, at 9 p.m. ET, the series stars Scott Speedman and Yvonne Strahovski in a high-stakes survival story set in rural Georgia.
