Captain Morgan to Host Underground Signal-Free Party in Toronto on April 4
TORONTO — Captain Morgan is taking the party offline and underground with an unconventional, signal-free event set to light up downtown Toronto on Friday, April 4. In a bold move to help partygoers disconnect from their screens and reconnect with real-life good times, the rum brand is transforming an underground parking lot into what it calls the “party of the year.”
Dubbed The Ultimate Signal-Free Party, the one-night-only event invites Torontonians to leave behind WiFi, notifications, and scrolling in favour of unfiltered fun, complete with music, drinks, and IRL vibes curated by Captain Morgan.
“Nothing beats the feeling of being there—in the moment, with your crew, making memories that don’t need a ‘refresh’ button,” said Nadia Niccoli, Head of Marketing at Diageo Canada. “Captain Morgan has always been about bringing the fun, but these days, we see screens getting in the way. So, we’re here to change that, one epic night at a time.”
To help guests resist the urge to check their phones, attendees will be given The Captain’s Case—a screen-covering phone case that doubles as a drink coaster. It’s all part of the brand’s mission to “bring back good times IRL” and beat the fear of missing out by embracing the moment.
Admission is 19+ and RSVP is required to attend. The exact location of the event remains under wraps, but guests can expect an immersive experience where the only thing trending is being present.
