Canadian Label Enters Junos with Reggae Giant Capleton

Toronto-based label S-Q Records is making a bold entry into the 2025 Juno Awards with their standout track Never Stop Trying. The song features an extraordinary collaboration between reggae icon Capleton, Canadian rapper Lucci Gabana, and Jamaican artist Contractor. Produced by award-winning producer Marcus Kane, Never Stop Trying is a dynamic fusion of reggae and hip-hop, delivering a powerful message of resilience and hope.

Capleton, often referred to as the “Prophet” of reggae, brings his signature energy and lyrical fire to the track, while Lucci Gabana’s sharp verses and Contractor’s smooth flow add a modern, cross-cultural appeal. Kane’s production masterfully blends the distinct styles of these artists, creating a song that resonates across genres and borders.

“This collaboration is more than just a song; it’s a celebration of unity and perseverance,” said Marcus Kane. The track has already gained international attention, highlighting S-Q Records as a rising force in the music industry.

If nominated, Never Stop Trying could make history by elevating reggae’s presence at the Junos, shining a spotlight on the genre’s growing influence in Canada. The official nominations will be announced in early December, ahead of the Juno Awards ceremony in Vancouver, British Columbia, in March 2025.

This submission marks a significant milestone for S-Q Records, showcasing the label’s commitment to championing diverse talent and delivering groundbreaking music.
