Paramount+ Unveils Cast and Premiere Date for Canada Shore, the First-Ever Canadian MTV “Shore” Series
“Canada Shore” brings ten bold Canadian singles to Kelowna, B.C., marking the debut of the MTV Shore franchise in Canada.
TORONTO — Paramount+ has officially announced the premiere date, cast, and first look at Canada Shore, the country’s first-ever entry in the global MTV “Shore” franchise. The new unscripted series will debut January 22, 2026, streaming exclusively on Paramount+ in Canada, the United States, the U.K., Ireland, and Australia.
Produced by Insight Productions, the series brings the familiar Shore formula to Canadian soil for the first time, pairing ten outspoken, larger-than-life singles in a lakefront Kelowna house for a summer of parties, hookups, friendship, and unforgettable drama.
The production was filmed in the summer of 2025 along the shores of Kelowna, B.C., capturing a season described as “surreal Canadian energy” blended with the chaos and camaraderie longtime MTV Shore fans expect.
Beginning November 27, viewers can also get ready for the premiere with the launch of the MTV Jersey Shore Channel on Pluto TV Canada, featuring classic episodes from across the franchise. The first two episodes of Canada Shore will be available for free sampling on Pluto TV starting January 22.

A Global Franchise With a Canadian Twist
Since its debut in 2009, MTV’s Jersey Shore has become one of the most iconic reality series of all time. The franchise has since ballooned to 18 international spin-offs, including Geordie Shore, Acapulco Shore, Aussie Shore, and Frenchie Shore. Canada Shore now joins the lineup, expanding the Shore universe into a uniquely Canadian setting for the first time.
Canadian fans can also stream multiple Shore titles on Paramount+, including Jersey Shore, Jersey Shore Family Vacation, Aussie Shore, and Acapulco Shore, with more arriving in early 2026.
