Brampton Celebrates Irish Heritage Month and St. Patrick’s Day with Flag Raising and Festivities
BRAMPTON, ON – The City of Brampton marked Irish Heritage Month and St. Patrick’s Day with a vibrant celebration at City Hall, recognizing the contributions of Irish Canadians and showcasing their rich cultural heritage. The event featured a community flag raising, traditional Irish performances, and a complimentary Irish breakfast.
The celebration, organized in partnership with the Rovers Club/Irish Pavilion of Carabram, highlighted the deep-rooted connections between Brampton and its Irish community. The morning began with the raising of the Irish flag, symbolizing the city’s recognition of Irish heritage and its ongoing contributions to Brampton’s cultural landscape.

The event also featured a complimentary traditional Irish breakfast, generously provided by Spot 1 Catering. Algoma University sponsored the event, further demonstrating its commitment to supporting cultural diversity in the city.
