Brampton Celebrates International Women’s Day with Inspiring Event at The Rose
BRAMPTON – Brampton came together on March 8 to celebrate International Women’s Day with an inspiring event at The Rose, where community leaders, artists, and residents gathered to mark the occasion. This year’s theme, #AccelerateAction, emphasized the urgency of breaking down systemic barriers and biases facing women.
The evening featured a dynamic fireside chat, live performances, and an artist market showcasing women-owned businesses, all aimed at fostering meaningful connections and celebrating the achievements of women in Brampton and beyond.

Mayor Patrick Brown, who attended the event, highlighted the importance of continuing the momentum beyond International Women’s Day. Councillors Navjit Kaur Brar and Rowena Santos were also recognized for their contributions, including powerful words and motivational music that resonated with attendees.
