Baskin-Robbins Brings Back Flavours for Fall: Ube Coconut Swirl, Turkey Cake, and Zombie Unicorn Cake

TORONTO – Baskin-Robbins is welcoming October with a delicious twist, announcing the return of its popular Ube Coconut Swirl as the Flavour of the Month. Alongside this vibrant ice cream, two seasonal favourites are making a comeback – the Turkey Cake and the spooky Zombie Unicorn Cake, perfect for Thanksgiving and Halloween celebrations.

“October is the month of contrasts and a cornucopia of flavours and colours,” said Natalie Joseph, spokesperson for Baskin-Robbins Canada. “Our guests will find it all this month, especially with the aesthetical beauty of our coconut-inspired flavour of the month and signature, customizable cakes. It’s magical from first glance to the last lick.”

The Ube Coconut Swirl is inspired by the bright purple yam known as ube, a beloved ingredient in Filipino cuisine. This sweet and nutty ice cream features a blend of ube and coconut flavours, topped with swirls of ube and vanilla, with shredded coconut adding a satisfying texture. Originally introduced in 2022, the flavour quickly gained popularity and returns to offer a tropical twist for the fall season.

For those looking to celebrate Thanksgiving with a creative dessert, the famous Turkey Cake is back. Filled with any Baskin-Robbins ice cream flavour of your choice, this unique cake is decorated with sugar cone legs and covered in a rich caramel praline glaze, making it a show-stopping addition to any holiday table.

Halloween enthusiasts are in for a treat with the return of the Zombie Unicorn Cake. This eerie version of the brand’s popular Unicorn Cake is customized with a sugar cone horn coated in crushed OREO® Cookies, drizzled with “blood” and flecks of OREO® Cookie crumb “dirt,” making it a ghoulish centerpiece for spooky gatherings. The cake and ice cream flavour can also be personalized to suit any taste.
