Assassin’s Creed Symphonic Adventure Set to Dazzle Toronto and Montreal in April 2024

TORONTO – Fans of the iconic Assassin’s Creed franchise will soon have the chance to experience the series like never before, with Ubisoft and Overlook Events announcing Canadian dates for the highly anticipated Assassin’s Creed Symphonic Adventure. The immersive concert will kick off on April 6, 2024, at Montreal’s Salle Wilfrid-Pelletier, followed by a Toronto performance on April 10 at Meridian Hall.

Combining a full orchestra, choir, and video projections, the Assassin’s Creed Symphonic Adventure offers a unique opportunity for fans to relive the franchise’s epic moments. Spanning 15 years of the series’ history, the concert will highlight different eras explored in the games, such as the American Revolution, Renaissance Italy, and Ancient Greece. With approximately 100 artists on stage, this event promises to bring the series’ iconic soundtracks to life.

Conductor Francis Choinière, who will lead the FILMharmonique Orchestra and choir, described the event as more than just a musical performance. “This concert is not just a celebration of a beloved game series; it’s an immersive experience that bridges the worlds of gaming and orchestral music,” said Choinière. “Each piece is meticulously crafted to reflect the unique narratives and emotions of the Assassin’s Creed saga, inviting the audience to relive these unforgettable moments in a powerful way.”

The concert will be a narrative journey through the music of Assassin’s Creed, synchronized with video montages from the games. Attendees can expect the compositions to evoke the distinct atmospheres and emotions of each installment, from the early days of the series to the present.

Adding to the excitement, the Montreal and Toronto shows will feature appearances by Assassin’s Creed composer Sarah Schachner, known for her work on Assassin’s Creed Origins and Valhalla. The concerts will also premiere a special track titled “From Depths of History,” composed by Jesper Kyd, who has contributed to multiple titles in the franchise, including Assassin’s Creed II, Brotherhood, and Revelations.

The Assassin’s Creed Symphonic Adventure comes to Canada following a successful European tour, including a world premiere in Paris. The experience, originally conceived for the franchise’s 15th anniversary in 2022, has been praised for its ability to capture the spirit of the games through live performance.

Tickets for both Montreal and Toronto dates went on sale on Oct. 16 at 5:00 PM EST. Further details, including a full list of tour dates, can be found on the official concert website.

For fans of the Assassin’s Creed universe and orchestral music alike, this event represents a fusion of gaming culture and classical artistry, promising a night of nostalgia, adventure, and remarkable music.
