Absolut and Ocean Spray Team Up to Launch New Ready-To-Drink Cocktails in Ontario
Toronto – The ready-to-drink (RTD) beverage market in Canada just got a refreshing new addition, as Absolut Vodka partners with Ocean Spray to introduce the Absolut Ocean Spray Vodka Cranberry RTD. This marks the first time Ocean Spray has entered the Canadian spirits market, bringing its real cranberry juice into the world of ready-made cocktails.
The collaboration combines the premium quality of Absolut’s Swedish vodka with the authentic taste of Ocean Spray’s cranberry juice, resulting in a line of RTD cocktails that aim to elevate the classic Vodka Cranberry experience. Alanna Howe, Senior Portfolio Manager for RTDs at Corby Spirit and Wine, expressed the company’s enthusiasm for the launch: “In a category as dynamic as RTDs, we seek to consistently bring new innovation to our consumers. We know Vodka Cranberry is a top preferred cocktail, which is why we are so excited about this partnership.”
The variety pack, designed with holiday sipping in mind, features four flavors: Vodka Cran-Grape, Vodka Cranberry, Vodka Cran-Pineapple, and Vodka Cran-Raspberry. Each pack includes two cans of each flavor, blending premium vodka, real cranberry juice, sparkling water, and natural flavors. “We’re thrilled to collaborate with Absolut to bring this iconic cocktail by two iconic brands to Canadians in a convenient format,” said Ravish Kohly, Managing Director at Ocean Spray International Services.
Initially launched in Ontario, the Absolut Ocean Spray Vodka Cranberry RTD will soon be available in Alberta, with a nationwide rollout planned for Spring 2025. The collaboration has already seen success in the U.S., and the companies aim to replicate that in Canada by offering high-quality, convenient beverage options.
